Malic acid is found naturally in apples and other fruits and vegetables. Glycine is a very low molecular weight amino acid which makes it ideal for aiding the absorption of minerals. The amino acid glycine is naturally found in foods and can be synthesized by the body. Calcium can be perfectly chelated to two moles of glycine.
Designs for Health's Calcium Malate Chelate capsules are a combination of the two most health promoting, most absorbable forms of calcium available. Some of the calcium is bound to glycine and the rest to malic acid. Our Calcium Malate Chelate yields a total of 250 mg of elemental calcium per capsule.
Knowing the significant benefits of vitamin D3 and how it aids calcium metabolism, 100 IU of this vitamin was added to this superb calcium formula.

The recommended dosage of two capsules yields 500 mg of elemental calcium along with 100 IU of vitamin D.Made with non-GMO ingredients.
