I bought this anti-inflammatory herbal mix after reading multiple studies that indicated depression was associated with inflammation in the brain. I started taking it over the winter (in conjunction with vitamin D & K and fish oil) and discovered that it alleviated the majority of my depression symptoms related to SAD. To test whether it was making a difference, I stopped taking it several times, while continuing to take D, K, and fish oil, and found that my depression symptoms returned in milder form. This is not why New Chapter makes this herbal mix and who knows if anyone else would find it helpful for depression, there are so many kinds. But it did help me, and I'll be sure to have it on hand next winter.

Actually I was introduced to this product by my vet who suggested I use with for my 100 pound yellow lab. While it certainly made him more comfortable, I could not forget her saying that it works great with humans! Bow Wow. I have fairly severe arthritis, and both of my shoulders need complete replacement, but this product has certainly helped with the reduction of discomfort and pain. I ordered my first bottle without signing up for the automatic shipments. This was a big mistake, because of course I ran out and then noticed the pain returning. I ordered another bottle and also signed up for the automatic refill option. Feeling quite happy that I am not seeing my orthopedic surgeon as often as in the past!

Formulation for this product changed a number of months ago and it simply does not absorb and work the same way it previously did. Contacting the company they simply indicated that there was a change and that was all there was to it.
