Krill are shrimp-like ocean creatures (crustaceans) that feed on algae, phytoplankton and zooplankton. Doctor's Best Real Krill is sustainably harvested from Antarctic krill. Krill oil provides the omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, in phospholipid form. Krill oil gets its red color from astaxanthin, a potent membrane antioxidant.

Ingredients:

Antarctic Krill Oil Complex, providing: Phospholipids, Omega-3 Fatty Acids (EPA [EicosaPentaenoic Acid], DHA [DocosaHexaenoic Acid]), Astaxanthin. Other Ingredients: Softgel capsule (gelatin, glycerin, purified water), vanillin. Contains shellfish (krill).
